Health Guarantee
In Addition to our health guarantee, every puppy is examined multiple times by our veterinarian to ensure they are in excellent health before going to their new homes. Each family receives a folder containing their puppy's records along with an official certificate of health.

To further support their wellbeing, our puppies receive bi-weekly fecal testing to ensure they have been properly dewormed prior to going home with you. We also carefully check each puppy's hips, knees, eyes, ears, heart, mouth and more to make sure they are heathy, thriving, and ready to join their new families.

Below is exactly what our health guarantee paperwork is:
Health Guarantee: North Dallas Pups guarantees your puppy for any genetic fatal, life threatening, or severe quality of life congenital anomalies until 2 year of age. This health guarantee covers up to the purchase price of the puppy or replacement of a puppy of the same or similar age, breed, and color, at North Dallas Pups option. If a genetic fatal, life threatening, or severe quality of life congenital anomaly is detected by a licensed veterinarian, buyers wish to return the puppy; Buyers must immediately provide North Dallas Pups with a letter from the veterinarian stating the medical reason for the return of the puppy. North Dallas Pups has the right to take the puppy to a veterinarian of its choosing for a second opinion prior to issuing a return or replacement under this health guarantee.
In the event a puppy dies within the health guarantee period and Buyer intends to require refund or replacement under this health guarantee, a necropsy by a licensed veterinarian must be performed to determine the cause of death at North Dallas Pups expense. A copy of the necropsy must be provided to North Dallas Pups within three days of the necropsy/death of the puppy along with its paperwork. Failure to perform a necropsy under this section will void this health guarantee.
***INITIAL VETERINARY CARE REQUIREMENT***: Your puppy must be seen by a vet of your choosing no sooner than 7 days or no later than 14 days of delivery of the puppy of the terms of the health guarantee are invalid.
THE VET APPOINTMENT MUST INCLUDE A FECAL EXAM
Veterinary Services During Health Guarantee Period: If your vet determines that any services beyond a well puppy check or routine vaccines are necessary before your puppy turns 2 years of age and are related to genetic fatal, life threatening, or severe quality of life congenital anomaly and you with for North Dallas Pups to cover these services, you MUST contact North Dallas Pups BEFORE any services are rendered. In addition, North Dallas Pups reserves the right to have the puppy returned to be seen by North Dallas Pup’s veterinarian should the Buyer want veterinary services covered by North Dallas Pups. In no event with North Dallas Pups pay for any services beyond the Purchase Price of the puppy or outside of the health guarantee.
-North Dallas Pups recommends buyers be very careful and aware that small puppies are not built to jump off laps, beds or furniture.
-North Dallas Pups recommends the puppy not have contact with other animals until after the required veterinary check under this agreement.
-North Dallas Pups recommends NOT let your dog touch the ground outside or inside of a veterinary office as there are many things dogs can pick up in a veterinary office!

CONDITIONS NOT COVERED BY HEALTH GUARANTEE:
The following conditions are not covered by the health guarantee: undescended testicles, hernias, worms, Coccidia, or Giardia, common ear issues like yeast, mites, or ear infections or any other parasite or bacteria, parvovirus, corona, distemper, hypoglycemia, and dehydration. This list is not an exhaustive list, and only fatal/life threatening/fatal severe quality of life congenital anomalies are covered under the health guarantee.
Animal Health Recommendations: NORTH DALLAS PUPS IS NOT A LICENSED VETERINARIAN AND ANY RECOMMENDATION IN THIS AGREEMENT HAS NOT BEEN SPECIFICALLY ENDORSED BY A LICENSED VETERINARIAN. NORTH DALLAS PUPS RECOMMENDS BUYER TO CONTACT A VETERINARIAN FOR ANY HEALTH RELATED ISSUES OF YOUR PUPPY ALTHOUGH WE WILL MAKE SUGGESTIONS WHEN POSSIBLE.
North Dallas Pups recommends Buyer contact Veda Valek 214-471-7426 IMMEDIATELY if your puppy has not drank water for 2 hours or if your puppy has not eaten food for 4 hours during the first week. Small dried puppies must be hydrated and fed regularly to avoid dehydration or hypoglycemia until they get a bit older. If the puppy also has loose stools or blood in the stool all of this could be a sign of stress although it’s best to keep in contact with North Dallas Pups wishing 6 hours of the issue.
REFUND POLICY: ALL SALES ARE FINAL; no refunds shall be given for any other reason than as stated in the health guarantee. The buyer agrees to take good and reasonable care of said puppy. The buyer agrees that they are fully capable of owning a dog (financially, emotionally, and physically); that they are prepared for the responsibility of owning and properly training a puppy and that they have proper housing to own a pet. Although in the event of an unusual circumstance where the puppy must be surrendered, we request to be the first “option” to take your puppy or dog back.
Waiver of liability: North Dallas Pups is not responsible for any accidents or injuries, physical or internal, after the puppy leaves North Dallas Pups care. North Dallas Pups is not responsible for any illness except any illness covered by the health guarantee contained in this agreement. North Dallas Pups is not responsible for the health of any other pets in the buyer’s household.
Buyer agrees to: Provide proper veterinary care. Maintain proper nutrition and hydration. Follow vaccination schedules recommended by your veterinarian. Protect the puppy from contagious environments until fully vaccinated. Provide safe housing and supervision.
Failure to provide proper care voids this health guarantee.
